Our products are delivered in bespoke banana fibre packaging, handcrafted in Tahiti — including a matching envelope and tissue paper — and come with their certificate of authenticity. They make exquisite gifts.
If you wish to have your order sent directly to the gift recipient, please let us know by leaving a note at checkout. We will be happy to ship the item without any pricing information and send the invoice separately to your billing address.
We strive to ship your order within one business day. Within Tahiti, we offer home delivery or postal shipping via Colissimo to the outer islands. For international orders, we work with La Poste, DHL/FedEx, and UPS.

Louis Devienne paints each design by hand in his studio, directly onto a canvas matching the dimensions of the silk square. Each piece is a true work of art, created with oil paint. The painting is then professionally photographed and refined through digital graphic work before being sent to our printer.
The painting is photographed and digitally refined in high resolution. These digital artworks are then printed directly onto silk fabrics by a specialist printer based in Lyon, France. Each carré is finished by hand using the traditional French technique of hand-rolled hems (roulotté main).
Our collaboration with local artisans — whose deep expertise in silk craftsmanship, from hand-rolling to other traditional techniques, is unmatched — sets Les Carrés Devienne apart. These artisanal methods are only made possible by the know-how of seasoned craftsmen who have honed their art over many years.
Your Devienne carré is a precious piece, crafted with care from the finest materials. To preserve its beauty and longevity, we recommend the following care instructions:
Cleaning: Dry clean only. Entrust your scarf to a professional who specializes in delicate fabrics. This will best protect its vibrant colors and luxurious texture.
Drying: If your carré becomes slightly damp (after exposure to humidity, for instance), lay it flat to air dry away from direct sunlight.
Ironing: Iron on the reverse side at a low temperature. Place a clean cloth between the iron and the fabric to avoid direct contact.
Storage: Store your carré flat or gently rolled in a clean, dry space. Avoid hanging it, as this may alter the fibers over time.
Precautions: Limit direct contact with perfume, cosmetics, or jewelry that could catch on the delicate silk. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct light to preserve its radiant colors.
